This is a trio for flute, oboe, and clarinet commissioned by Dr. Caterina Bristol, Chair of the Department of Music at Alabama State University, for her woodwind trio. The piece includes five short movements, each of which is composed in a horizontal fashion, without a sense of tonality, using the same seven-note synthetic scale throughout.
